Hankook Kinergy PT H737 Performance Review
The Hankook Kinergy PT H737 is an all-season touring tire. The car tire can handle any weather season and terrain. While testing the Hankook Kinergy PT H737 from the car manufacturing details, we did expect high performance mainly off-road, and the car tire did live up to its expectations. Its sidewall and tread block patterns make the car tire to have an excellent grip and handling off-road. While its anti-abrasion compound helps to maintain the tread life even after hours on off-road surfaces.
Snow and Ice Performance
While driving in snow or icy surfaces, it can be rather challenging. The surfaces get slippery, which can be dangerous, especially if you do not have a good set of tires to counter the wet surfaces. At first, while testing the PT H737, we did not have too much expectation. However, it did surprise us. Its tread design gives the PT H737 a better grip and traction while its outer lateral grooves allow for exceptional braking on snow and ice surfaces.
Wet Surfaces Performance
Similar to snow and ice surfaces, driving on slippery surfaces can be dangerous, especially if you do not have a good set of tires. When driving on wet surfaces, what most car tires tend to experience is aqua planning. Aqua planning is whereby the water is trapped under the tread and grooves, reducing traction on the road. For PT H737, the tire comes with wide circumferential grooves which give helps to evacuate the water, thus reducing chances of hydroplaning.
Dry Land Performance
Driving on dry land can be fun. As it, during that time, most car tires are at their peak of performance. However, not all car tires are suitable for dry land, especially in areas where the temperatures are scorching. In such areas, you do need a car tire, which can only withstand the heat but can perform even better on such adverse conditions. We did get a chance to test the Kinergy PT H737, on Nevada roads, where the temperatures are incredibly due to its desert conditions. Kinergy PT H737 performs on dry surfaces did not disappoint. Its secure jointless belt did offer stability while driving at high speed. While its enhanced sidewall thickness did ensure that the road grip and traction was excellent.
Like any another car tire, we just had to test the steering response. Steering response is one critical element that any car expert will tell and should never be overlooked. As it will determine how well you can handle any corners. Steering response means how well your tire response while steering. You should always check on the sidewall thickness.
The Hankook PT H737 comes with increase sidewall thickness, which has dramatically improved the steering response and handling. While you might expect difference when changing the nature of the surface, Hankook Kinergy PT H737 has a excellent steering response on both wet and dry surfaces. For excellent steering response on slippery surfaces, the car tire comes with four circumferential grooves which have numerous lateral slots. The circumferential grooves help to evacuate water from the tread, thus reducing the chances of hydroplaning.
Noise and Comfort
We all desire to enjoy our drive. Driving can be relaxing in nature, especially if you are having a bad day. While driving car tires tend to produce a specific noise, especially at high speed. High amounts of sound can be a nuisance, especially while trying enjoying your drive. The number of noise produced depends on the tread patterns.
We did get a chance to test drive Hankook PT H737 we did notice that the tire generates low sound at low or moderate speed. However, we were disappointed that while pressing at a high-speed level produces a humming noise.

The same scenario appeals to tires. You should buy a car tire which fits your car. If you buy a car tire which is a couple of inches of car recommended wheel size, then you will experience quicker wear and tear.
