Has anyone checked out the build quality of aftermarket starters? Seems like some really don’t last. I’m curious if it’s just my experience or a common issue.
I’m having issues with my 6.0 Powerstroke starter too. It seems like it’s taking longer to crank lately. Any suggestions?
Same here! I’ve read that sometimes the solenoid can get stuck. Have you checked that yet?
Definitely check the solenoid, but don’t rule out the wiring! Poor connections can cause weird starting issues.

I used XYZ brand and had zero issues for over a year now. I guess it varies by the unit. Almost tempting to try a different one!
