What’s the Best Harley Trike Conversion Kit Out There?

Seeking Advice on Harley Trike Conversion Kits

I’ve been thinking about converting my Harley into a trike for a while now and could really use some help navigating the options available. I want to make sure I choose a kit that is not only high-quality but also compatible with my specific model.

Why Go Trike?

From what I’ve gathered, switching to a trike can significantly enhance stability, comfort, and overall riding experience—especially on longer trips. I’ve heard a lot about the extra security a three-wheeler offers, making it less daunting on the open road.

What to Consider?

Here are some key factors I’m considering while looking for the best trike conversion:

  • Compatibility: Will the kit work well with my Harley model?
  • Quality: Are there brands known for their durability and performance?
  • Installation: How complicated is the installation process? Will I need a professional or can I tackle it myself?
  • Price: What’s the average cost range, and which kits offer the best value for the money?
  • Reviews: What do current users say about their experiences with different kits?

Personal Preferences

I’m leaning towards a conversion that maintains a sporty look rather than a bulkier appearance, something that still feels like the Harley experience I already love.

I love my Champion too! The ride feels smooth, and the cornering is much easier. Great choice!

I’ve heard about EZ Steer! Is it easy to install, or do you recommend a professional?

There’s also the EZ Steer kit which offers better handling for Softails. It’s a bit pricey, but worth every penny if you’re serious about performance.

Installation is pretty straightforward if you’re handy. However, for peace of mind, I’d let a pro handle it! Better safe than sorry.

I’ve been using the Roadsmith conversion on my Road King, and I love the added storage space! It also looks sleek.

I’ve heard good things about Roadsmith! Any issues with the installation or compatibility?

Not really! The Roadsmith fits like a glove on my King, and the instructions were clear. Would recommend it for sure!

I’ve looked into the Motor Trike options as well. They have some great features, especially the independent rear suspension.

Do you think Motor Trike is comparable to Champion or Roadsmith?

They both have pros and cons. Motor Trike has a unique style and decent performance, but I still prefer Champion for my needs.

Weight distribution can be a factor! Some kits have adjustable features that help. Just do your research first.
