Just a heads up, if you’re planning on doing a lot of off-road, you might want to adjust your expectations. The 1290 is definitely more street-focused, so a true dirt bike might handle better in those conditions.

For me, the bike encourages an upright posture, which is key for longer rides. I can ride all day without my back complaining!
