I’ve kept mine pretty stock, but I did change the exhaust for a deeper sound. Acceleration is noticeably better! Comparing it to my friend’s CB750 from the same era, I find the Yamaha more comfortable to ride for longer distances.

Reliability has been excellent. I’ve only had minor issues, mostly cosmetic. The engine is a beast! I sometimes wonder how it compares to modern bikes, though. Do you all think it would hold its own today?

While it won’t compete with modern sport bikes, it definitely has character and can still give newer riders a run for their money on the roads.
