I’m having some trouble with my 5.7 Vortec engine and the spider injector system, and I’m looking for some advice or help. Has anyone here dealt with these before?

Symptoms

Lately, I’ve been experiencing some performance issues that I suspect might be related to the fuel delivery system. I’ve noticed:

  • Rough idling
  • Decreased fuel efficiency
  • Some hesitation during acceleration

These symptoms started appearing gradually, and I think it might be related to the spider injector either clogging up or failing.

What I’ve Tried

So far, I’ve:

  1. Checked for any obvious leaks around the injectors.
  2. Replaced the fuel filter hoping that might solve the issues—but no luck.
  3. Tried a fuel system cleaner as well.

I’m at a point where I think a deeper inspection is necessary.
