I’m in the market for some new struts for my vehicle, and I’ve been hearing a lot about FCS struts. I’ve done a bit of research, but nothing beats real user feedback. My main concerns are durability, ride quality, and whether they’re a good deal for the price.
Performance Concerns
Durability:
How long have your FCS struts lasted?
Any signs of premature wear or failure?
Ride Quality:
How do they perform on rough roads?
Do they provide a comfortable ride, or is it jarring?
Comparison to Other Brands:
How do FCS struts compare to brands like Monroe or KYB?
Is it true they offer better value or is it just a fable?
General Thoughts
I’d love to hear your experiences, both good and bad. If you’ve switched from FCS to another brand or vice versa, what was your decision-making process?
Conclusion
Thanks in advance for your input! I want to make an informed decision before spending my money, and I appreciate any insights you can offer about FCS struts or their competitors.
I’ve been using FCS struts for about a year now, and they’ve significantly improved my ride comfort. Bumps feel less jarring, and I’m thrilled with the handling!
I’ve had FCS struts on my Honda Civic for about 2 years now, and they’ve held up surprisingly well! No major signs of wear so far, even with rough roads.
In my experience, FCS struts show moderate resistance to wear. I had them on my Ford and they started to show signs of fatigue around the 3-year mark. Not bad, but not exceptional either.
I live in a city with terrible potholes, but my FCS struts have been pretty resilient. It’s been nearly 4 years with minimal wear! They really exceeded my expectations.
