Anyone else dealing with 'Drive System Active' warning in their Audi?

I’ve been encountering a ‘Drive System Active’ warning on my Audi Q5, and it’s driving me a bit nuts! It seems to pop up out of nowhere, and I’m pretty concerned about what it could mean for my car.

What Does the Warning Mean?

From my understanding, this warning can indicate issues with the electrical system or other components that affect the vehicle’s drivability. I’ve read that it could be related to things like transmission problems or maybe even a fault in the computer system.

Troubleshooting Steps I’ve Tried

  1. Check the Owner’s Manual: Always the first step, but it was pretty vague about specifics.
  2. Scan for Codes: I tried running a diagnostic scan with an OBD2 scanner, but I didn’t get any clear codes that would help explain the warning.
  3. Battery Check: I also checked the battery, thinking it could be voltage-related, especially since I read that other electrical issues can trigger this warning. But everything seemed normal.
  4. Fluid Levels: I looked at the transmission fluid level as well, and it’s right where it should be.

Seeking Advice

Has anyone else run into this issue? What did you do to resolve it? I’d love to hear any insights, tips, or experiences you’ve had with this warning. It’s such a hassle and it’s making me second-guess driving my car.

Thanks in advance for any help you can provide!
