It’s a noticeable difference, especially during long rides. But don’t skip on the routine maintenance and inspections for the rest of the bike!
I’ve heard there can be some oil leaks in older models. Anyone experienced this with their 2013 Fat Boy?
I had a slight leak near the primary cover, but it was an easy fix. I’d say it’s pretty typical with older Harleys though.
Overall, if you keep up with maintenance, the Fat Boy can last you a long time without issues. Just be prepared to deal with a few quirks!

Yes! I replaced the stock shocks with Progressive Suspension ones, and they’re fantastic for handling and comfort. Highly recommend them!
What do you all think about adding a fairing? I’m considering it for both wind protection and looks, but not sure if it will throw off the bike’s style.
Fairings can really help on long rides. Just choose a style that complements the Fat Boy’s shape. It can add both aesthetics and functionality!

LEDs are a great touch! I installed some under-body strips, and they look amazing. Plus, they help with visibility. What colors did you choose?
I went with apes on mine, and it changed the whole stance of the bike. Super comfortable for cruising!

That’s a valid concern! I’d recommend checking with your dealer. Some mods are fine, while others might void coverage.
