Honestly, trading it in sounds tempting, but I just can’t let go of it! I’ve put so much work into my 2012 F150. Besides, I’ve seen reports of safety problems in the 2014 models too.
Recalls seem to be rampant in the earlier years. I’ve also read that 2014 is notorious for issues with the transmission. Definitely something to watch out for!

Exactly! I think the 2013 models also had some safety issues with the airbags. Can’t trust these if they’re not safe.
If you ask me, the biggest hilarious issue is when people try to find the ‘perfect’ year. I feel like it’s like playing roulette with these EcoBoost trucks!

I’ve heard bad things about the 2011 and 2012 models. They had a lot of complaints regarding engine knock and oil consumption. It really turned me off from those years.

I have a 2014 EcoBoost and it’s been a solid truck! No issues, and I pull a trailer frequently. Just want to share some positivity since not everyone has bad experiences!
