What vehicles does the PF47E oil filter fit?

That’s a solid tip! Just keep an eye on your oil levels and color. If it looks dark and gritty, it’s definitely time for a change!

The PF47E oil filter is known for its compatibility with various GM vehicles, particularly the 3.6L V6 engines. It offers great filtration and is often praised for its durability in the field.

I’ve used the PF47E in my Chevy Impala for over a year now. I’ve noticed better engine performance, but I’m curious how it compares to other filters like the AC Delco PF46.

In comparing the PF47E and AC Delco PF46, the PF46 tends to have a slightly higher filtration capacity. However, the PF47E is often cheaper and more readily available, making it a go-to for many.

Good point, Richard! I personally favor the PF47E for its performance. Never had any issues, even under heavy driving conditions.

While the PF47E performs well, I’ve read some reviews that mention it can restrict flow in cold temperatures. It really depends on your local climate and driving style.

That’s a good point, Lawrence. I haven’t noticed flow issues, but I live in a warmer area. Has anyone else experienced this?

I used the PF47E in my Buick Lucerne and it worked wonders! But I switched to an aftermarket filter for fun, and honestly, I didn’t feel that much difference. Just go for whatever you find cheaper!

Choosing the right oil filter is like picking a dating partner. You want one that is loyal (durable) and performs well under pressure! So, which one has the better ‘long-term relationship’ reputation?

Haha, love that analogy! I think the PF47E has proven to be a reliable choice for many, but I’d still be open to suggestions if newer filters come into play.
