What Tire Size Fits a 2007 F150?

Exactly! Wider tires can enhance stability but at the cost of some ride comfort. What brand do you use?

Don’t forget about the potential lift when you change tire sizes! It can enhance off-road capability but might affect your center of gravity.

I’m interested in your lift comment. How much lift are we talking about for a tire size like 33s? I’ve considered it but I’m unsure.

Going from stock to 33-inch tires usually requires at least a 2-4 inch lift to prevent rubbing. It’s definitely a fun upgrade if you plan on off-roading! But check local laws first.

Good point! Laws vary a lot by location. Always best to stay within the legal guidelines; nobody wants a ticket!

Has anyone tried 34s? I’m intrigued but worried about the impact on mileage or performance. Thoughts?

I’m running 34s and have noticed a noticeable drop in fuel efficiency. But the extra grip and overall look are worth it for me! Just be cautious on tight corners.

Ah, the classic struggle! Bigger tires make everything look cooler but sometimes we gotta sacrifice some practicality. Such is life!

I think the tire size you choose should really fit your driving style. If you do more highway driving, stick to a stock size for comfort. Off-roaders can go big!

For a 2007 F-150, common tire sizes are 265/70R17 or 275/65R18. Make sure to check your door jamb for the exact specs!

Thanks for the sizes, qvelasquez! Also, don’t forget about maintenance; regular rotations will keep your tires wearing evenly.

I agree with jlee about rotations. Every 5,000 to 7,500 miles is a good rule. Any suggestions on reliability?

Check out Goodyear and Michelin! They generally have great tread life and performance for the F-150.

Make sure to keep the tire pressure at around 30-35 PSI as recommended! It makes such a difference.

Good tips, robert48! Tire pressure is key. I usually check mine weekly. Helps with fuel efficiency too!

I’ve had luck with Falken too. Good grip and longevity on different terrains.

Tire maintenance is SUPER important! I rotate mine religiously every 5,000 miles, and it shows.

I’m curious if anyone here has done DIY tire rotations? How did it go for you?

Tina79, I have done it! Just remember to have the right tools. It’s easier than it sounds and saves a lot!

Don’t forget to check the alignment after tire rotations! A bad alignment can ruin your tires real quick.
