I used a cheaper brand once, and it ended badly. Never skimp on batteries for a Powerstroke! You might save initially, but the hassle isn’t worth it.

Agree with robert66! If you’re looking for reliability, it’s better to invest in quality. My experience with ACDelco batteries has been fantastic. They last long and handle tough conditions well.

Just curious… any thoughts on Interstate batteries? I’ve heard different opinions and wasn’t sure if they were worth it for the 6.0 Powerstroke.
Interstate batteries are solid but tend to be pricey. If you can find a good deal, they’re reliable. A friend has used them for years without issues.

I live in the south and have had no problems with Interstate batteries in the heat. They seem to handle it well, unlike some others I’ve tried.

If you can stretch your budget, Optima is worth it! They have great performance, just make sure you get the dual-purpose model for your Powerstroke.

I’m looking into battery sizes for my 6.0 Powerstroke as well. I’ve heard that a group size 65 is recommended. Does anyone have experience with that?
Group 65 is indeed a great choice for starting power! Just ensure you check the CCA rating. You want at least 750 CCA.

I had a lot of electrical issues that were linked to my battery. Check for corrosion on the terminals and connections. It can be a real culprit.
