I’ve always felt the 1999 Night Train has solid acceleration for a cruiser. It can easily get you moving quickly, especially in the mid-range. The torque feels great, but it’s not as quick off the line as some sport bikes.

I totally agree! The torque is indeed one of the best features. Just a twist of the throttle, and you’re off. Plus, it handles pretty well in corners for a bike of its size.

Has anyone upgraded their suspension? I’m curious if it improves comfort on longer trips. I’m thinking of going with a progressive suspension setup.

I did that last summer, and it’s made mountains of difference! The ride is much smoother, especially on rough roads.
