I had a bit of trouble fitting the new unit in my 2011 model. It’s snug in there! But once it was in, it was definitely worth the hassle.
Did you end up going with a specific kit?
I used the Metra kit for installation. It’s a bit bulky but does the job well! Just take your time with the wiring.

No issues here! My camera works perfectly with the new head unit. Just ensure the head unit supports video input for the camera.
