Looking for the best wheels for my Audi RS3, any recommendations?

Seeking Advice on Wheel Choices for Audi RS3

I’m in the market for new wheels for my Audi RS3, and I’d love to get some input from the community. After spending some time online, I realized that there are quite a few options available, but I’m feeling a bit overwhelmed by all the choices!

What I’m Looking For:

  • Aftermarket wheels that complement the RS3’s sporty look.
  • Recommendations on brands that offer quality and durability.
  • Insights into wheel specifications: especially bolt patterns and offset that would fit the RS3 perfectly.
  • Comparisons between different wheel styles: I’ve seen everything from sleek black alloys to flashy chrome finishes, and I’m curious what looks best!
  • Additional advice on where to buy: Are there any reliable online stores or local shops you recommend?

Questions to Consider:

  1. What wheel sizes do you suggest for optimal performance?
  2. Are there any wheel styles that improve handling or ride quality?
  3. How about pricing? What’s a reasonable budget for good quality wheels?

Any input you all have would be much appreciated! I really want to make sure I’m making the right choice before I make a purchase. Thanks for the help!

The RS3 typically looks great with 19-inch wheels! They provide a good balance of aesthetics and performance. Just make sure they fit well with your brake setup.

I’ve heard 20-inch wheels can also work but might affect ride comfort. Anyone have thoughts on that?

Stick with 19s! The handling is much sharper, and you won’t have to worry about rubbing issues with the fenders or suspension adjustments.

Totally agree! It’s the sweet spot for performance. Just check compatibility with your specific brake kit if you have one.

Performance and looks aside, what are your thoughts on lighter materials? Any specific brands you recommend for after-market wheels?

I love HRE wheels! They’re lightweight and look fantastic on the RS3. Worth the investment!

No need to spend a fortune! There are plenty of affordable brands that still offer decent quality. Have you checked out Rotiform?

HRE is great, but they can be pricey. Is anyone using replica wheels? How’s the durability?

It’s all about balance! If you want looks, go for style, but don’t sacrifice performance. Plus, my friend says 20s might look awesome but limit your options for tire size.

Good point! Tires can make or break your ride. Comfort is key, right?

I’ve had great experiences with HRE Wheels on my RS3. They provide excellent performance and have a wide range of designs. Highly recommend checking them out!

HRE are solid, but BBS could also be worth considering. Many users rave about their durability and lightweight construction.

I’ve been looking at Rotiform as well. They have some unique designs that could really set your RS3 apart. Anyone have performance data on them?

Rotiform is stylish! However, I’ve heard their performance can vary. Best to combine looks with reliability.

If you want something that balances performance and aesthetics, check out OZ Racing. They’re highly regarded and perform well on track days!

OZ Racing has a solid reputation. My friend had a pair on his previous car and was very pleased.

I’ve been reading mixed reviews about Vossens. Some love them, while others say they’re not the best for performance driving. Thoughts?

That seems to be the case. I’m personally wary of them but know people who swear by them. Maybe test a set first?
