I agree! I had a close call during a downpour, but the tires held up exceptionally well. No hydroplaning at all.

Does anyone have experience with the TA51A in snow? I’m curious how they fare when it gets really cold.

I’ve driven with these tires in light snow, and they did alright. Slippery conditions are a bit tricky, but I wouldn’t say they’re the worst option out there.

That’s good to know! So they’re not complete slouches in snow? Sounds promising for occasional winter driving.

For dry pavement, the Kumho Solus TA51A is very reliable. Great handling, and I love the braking performance. I feel like I can stop on a dime!

I’ve noticed the same! The control I have on dry roads gives me a lot of confidence while driving.

I had a flat once, and it made me rethink these tires. They’re good on most conditions but may need extra care in extreme weather. Just my two cents!

Overall, I’d say that Kumho Solus TA51A gives a good balance for various weather conditions, but like Antonio said, extreme weather can be risky.

Has anyone tried them on a long trip? I’m planning a road trip soon and would love to know if they handle well over extended distances.

I’ve done a couple of long drives with these tires. They were comfortable and I felt secure at highway speeds.

What about noise levels? I’ve heard mixed reviews about road noise with the Solus TA51A. Is it a loud tire?

That’s one concern I had too! They’re not the quietest, but I wouldn’t say they’re unbearable. Just a typical road noise.

I did notice some noise when going over rougher surfaces, but personally, it didn’t bother me much. After all, you can’t have everything!

What’s the difference between the TA51A and other Kumho models? Anyone with insights? Trying to decide if I should stick with them or explore alternatives.

Honestly, the TA51A offers great performance for its price, and unless you need something specialized, you might be fine sticking with it!

I’ve been using Kumho Solus TA51As for about 25,000 miles now. They’ve shown impressive longevity and haven’t worn unevenly at all. Highly recommend them for daily driving!

That sounds promising! I’m curious about how they perform in wet conditions. Anyone experienced hydroplaning with these?

I’ve had my Kumhos for nearly 30,000 miles, and they’ve held up wonderfully! Still have about half tread left. They’ve maintained grip really well throughout their lifespan.
