Looking for Goodyear Wrangler Territory MT Reviews! What Do You Think?

I’ve been considering getting a set of Goodyear Wrangler Territory MT tires for my truck and I’m curious to hear what others think about them. Specifically, I’m looking for insights on their performance in both off-road and on-road conditions. Here are a few things I’m particularly interested in:

Performance

  • How do they handle rough terrains like mud, rocks, and sand?
  • Are they responsive on highways and city roads?

Durability

  • How well do they hold up over time? Any significant wear issues?
  • Do you find them to be puncture-resistant, especially during off-road adventures?

Noise and Comfort

  • What’s the noise level like while driving on the highway? Are they bearable for long trips?
  • How would you rate the ride comfort compared to other MT tires you’ve used?

Overall Impressions

  • Do you recommend them for someone who frequently goes off-roading?
  • Any comparisons with other MT tires that you’re aware of?

I appreciate any feedback you can share! It would really help in making my decision. Thanks in advance for your thoughts!

I’ve been using the Goodyear Wrangler Territory MT for a few months now, and I’ve taken them through mud, rocks, and gravel. They have great traction in all these conditions! I’d rate their durability quite high; no punctures or significant wear yet.

That’s awesome to hear! How do they handle deep mud? I’ve had past tires that struggled in those conditions.

In my experience, they perform well in deep mud. They clear out quite nicely, and I’ve had no issues getting stuck. I feel confident tackling muddy trails with them.

Mud seems to be their forte, but what about rocky terrains? I’m considering these tires for some upcoming off-road trips, and I’m curious about their performance on sharp edges.

They handle rocks surprisingly well! I’ve driven over some jagged paths without feeling too much impact. The sidewalls are sturdy.

I can back that up! The durability is impressive, but do watch out for sharp rocks. While I’ve had no punctures, I did feel a few hits that made me cringe a little. Overall, pretty solid.

Sounds like a winner! I’m a bit worried about how they perform on gravel. Any feedback on that aspect?

On gravel roads, they provide great handling! I’ve taken curves at decent speeds, and they offer good stability while remaining quiet. Very much a plus for me!

I haven’t had them long, but in gravel, I noticed they feel alright. I’d say they’re average here; nothing to write home about, but they get the job done.

I get that! It’s hard to find a tire that excels everywhere. Do you think they could be a good choice for mixed terrain?

Absolutely! If you’re doing a bit of everything, including highway driving, these might be good. Just make sure you’re not spending all your time on smooth pavement.

I’ve had the Goodyear Wrangler Territory MTs for a few months now. On the highways, they are surprisingly comfortable! A bit of road noise, but nothing too distracting. Great for the occasional off-road adventures.

That’s good to hear! I’m curious, do they get louder at higher speeds? I do a lot of highway driving.

In my experience, the noise levels do increase a bit when you hit 70+ mph. But it’s still manageable and doesn’t detract from the driving experience. They’re designed more for off-road, after all.

Good point, xwang! How do they handle in wet conditions? That’s usually a concern for me on city roads.

I’ve found them quite reliable in wet conditions. The tread design gives decent traction, but I would still advise caution if it’s pouring. Comfort-wise, they do offer a nice balance between ruggedness and everyday usability.

That’s reassuring, jackiedunn! I’m really looking for tires that transition well. Do you think they’re suitable for daily city driving?

Absolutely, nancy91. They perform well on city roads. However, you might feel the bumps more compared to all-season tires. But the trade-off for off-road capability is totally worth it for me!

Sounds promising! I just hope I won’t feel like I’m riding on horseback when driving through the city. Haha!
