I’m currently using the Ford IDS for PATS programming, and it’s been pretty reliable for key programming. Just last week, I successfully programmed a new key for my F-150! Definitely not the easiest tool out there, but it gets the job done.

I’ve used the Autel MaxiIM for a while now and really appreciate its straightforward interface. Key programming was a breeze on my 2006 Escape. I did face issues at first, but customer support helped me out quickly.

I have the MaxiIM too, but I’ve struggled with reprogramming keys on some of the newer models. Does anyone have tips for that?
