How to Load a Golf Cart in the Back of a Truck?

Has anyone tried using a compact truck like the Toyota Tacoma for this? I wonder if it has enough power for a golf cart!

I have! It does have the capability but feels a bit cramped. I wouldn’t recommend it for larger carts.

Look for trucks with higher torque ratings, as they help when starting from a stop with the added weight. That’s crucial for safety!

Good advice! I also prefer trucks with backup cameras to make maneuvering into tight spots easier.

What about the Dodge Ram? I hear it has good towing capacity but how’s the bed size for golf carts?

It’s great! With the right bed length, a Ram can fit a golf cart and carry it securely. Just check the weight limits too!

If you’re in a tight budget, consider used trucks. Many older models still offer great load capacities and features.

That’s a solid point! Just make sure to check the condition of the truck, especially the bed and suspension.

Honestly, I think the best option is to rent a truck specially designed for hauling. That’s usually a safer bet!

That’s true! But if you’re investing in one, make sure it meets all the criteria we’ve discussed.
