I’ve also had mixed experiences with Duralast. Great initial performance, but it fizzled out just after the warranty. Maybe my driving habits weren’t ideal, though.

I think environment plays a big role in battery life. For instance, my Duralast Gold performed well in summer but struggled in the freezing winters. It’s been an adventure, to say the least!
I’ve had my Duralast Gold battery for over 4 years now, and it’s still performing great! They typically come with a 3-year free replacement warranty and up to 6 years of pro-rated coverage. Definitely worth it!

Good point! Manufacturing dates are crucial. A friend of mine had one last just 2 years, so checking is key.
