CrossClimate 2 vs Pilot Sport All Season 4: Which is the Better All-Season Tire?

Rotating tires regularly has helped me! I got great mileage from my last set of all-seasons. Don’t forget about proper inflation and alignment too!

I’ve been eyeing the tread wear ratings for both of these tires, and their specs suggest they should be pretty durable. Anyone have a side-by-side comparison?

I’ve seen comparisons online, but it’s hard to trust reviews. Real user feedback is what matters!

Exactly! Users often report different experiences based on usage. I’ve heard both tires hold up well, but some complaints on the Pilot Sport about uneven wear.

I have a friend who swears by the Pilot Sport All Season 4. He says they’ll last him forever, but I think he’s just optimistic. Can they really be that durable?

Well, tell your friend I said ‘forever’ might be optimistic. But hey, if they last longer than expected, I guess it’s a win!

I’ve driven on both tires extensively. The CrossClimate 2 has noticeably better ride comfort, making long trips a breeze. However, I found the Pilot Sport All Season 4 to be a bit more responsive in handling.

That’s interesting, Craig! I’ve only tried the Pilot Sport All Season 4 and agree about the handling. The cabin noise is quite low too, which is a plus for my daily commute.

From my experience, the CrossClimate 2 excels in reducing cabin noise. You can hardly tell you’re driving on rough roads. It feels like gliding!

That’s great to hear! I’m curious though, does it handle well in the rain compared to the Pilot Sport? Wet performance is a big deal for me.

I’ve found both tires perform admirably in wet conditions, but the Pilot Sport has a slight edge in grip during heavy rains. The trade-off between comfort and sportiness is an interesting balance.

I totally nod to that, Chad. However, I think the CrossClimate 2 really shines for everyday comfort and noise levels, especially on rougher roads.

After switching to CrossClimate 2, it’s like riding on a cloud. The noise is significantly lower compared to my old tires. Anyone else feeling like they can chat at normal volume while driving?

Absolutely, Marisa! It almost feels like enjoying a concert where the sound is just right. However, I’m seriously considering Pilot Sport for the more spirited drives.

It’s a valid point! Is it safe to assume the sport-oriented drivers might prefer the Pilot Sport regardless of comfort?

That’s true, Megan. Sport-tire lovers usually lean towards performance, but every driver has their priorities. Comfort vs. performance always sparks good debate!

Funny you say that, Allison! It’s like trying to choose between pizza and pasta. They both have their merits, but sometimes, you just want one or the other!

And there’s always an opinion on which is better! I guess it all depends on your driving style and preferences.
