Considering the Clake One Light Clutch: Pros, Cons, and Experiences?

I put it on my Ducati and didn’t face any major issues. A bit of wiring adjustment was required, but nothing too challenging! Worth it in my opinion.

That sounds manageable! Do you think it enhances the riding experience? I’m intrigued.

Definitely enhances the experience, especially in heavy traffic! My only gripe was the initial cost of the clutch. A bit steep, but I got used to it.

It’s an investment for sure! Did anyone encounter issues with fitting on older models? I have a 2004 model and wonder if it’ll fit seamlessly.

I fit mine on a 2002 Honda XR650, and it fit like a glove after adjusting one bolt. So, it might work out for you too!

Fingers crossed! I’m willing to try any mods to make it work. Thanks for the input!

Good to see everyone so enthusiastic! I think the installation may be tricky for some. Let’s hope for easy compatibility across different models!

Honestly, I think users overstate the installation complexity. If you can use basic tools, you’ll be fine. Just take your time, folks!

True! But a little humor softens the stress. I might tackle it with a pizza break in between!

Pizza and tools… now that’s a recipe for disaster! Just kidding, but take your time, and you’ll have a blast with it!

Looking back, I wish I had done more research on compatibility. But overall, it’s all been a learning experience!

I’ve been using the Clake One Light Clutch for about a year now, and I love how much lighter the pull is compared to my old OEM system. It’s great for long rides! A definite upgrade for anyone who does a lot of trail riding.

I totally agree! I switched from a standard clutch system and can’t believe the difference. My hand fatigue has significantly decreased when I’m riding for hours.

One downside I found with the Clake is the installation process. It wasn’t as straightforward as I expected, especially compared to my previous OEM setup. Just a heads up for those considering it!

That’s a good point, rfrazier. Even a simple installation can be tough if you’re not mechanically inclined. Definitely consider the learning curve.

As for price, I think the Clake One is worth the investment if you ride frequently. The comfort it provides can’t be overstated, especially in technical terrain.

I recently compared it to the Magura clutch system and found the Clake has a more gradual engagement, which can be very handy for technical sections.

The Magura is solid, but I think the Clake feels more refined. It’s a personal preference based on riding style, but both are great options!

I’m curious if anyone has experience with the aftermarket clutches from Trail Tech? How do they compare with the Clake for enduro riding?

I have a Trail Tech clutch and honestly, I find it a bit stiffer than the Clake. It may depend on your bike’s setup though.
