It can be tricky if you’re not familiar with truck mechanics, but don’t be intimidated! There are lots of helpful videos online.
I like my Pro Comp kit, but the installation wasn’t without its hiccups! Definitely take it slow and don’t rush it.
Does anyone tell you that you’re not supposed to lift the truck too high? Some of my buddies don’t follow that, thinking higher means better!

From my experience, the ride can be a bit stiffer with a lift, especially on uneven surfaces. But off-road, it definitely improves capability. So it’s a trade-off, really.
I totally agree with you, ccosta! I added a 3 inch lift to my Silverado, and while the street feel is different, my off-roading has become way more exciting!

I went for the Fabtech kit, and I love it! Lower center of gravity compared to some others I’ve tried. Worth checking out!

Absolutely, simsmaria! A 3 inch lift allows better clearance, which makes tackling obstacles much easier. Just make sure your approach angles are still good.
