I’ve switched from another brand to R1 after hearing great reviews. Honestly, the difference is noticeable. Less wear and consistent performance!
For me, I think they’re worth it if you factor in the performance and reduced maintenance frequency.
That’s a solid point, Shane. I’m also interested to see how they hold up in winter. Anyone have experience with that?
I used mine through winter, and while they did get a bit gritty, a quick wash and they were back to normal. Performance held quite well!

Hey, so I have a question - if you’re seeing wear, how often do you think you need to replace them?
I think it depends on usage, but many say yearly maintenance is a good rule of thumb. Anyone else?
I love these brakes, but I did have a caliper issue once. R1’s customer service was pretty helpful though, which saved me a lot of hassle!

I’ve had mine for two years with minimal issues. They’re sturdy, but I definitely recommend regular checks to catch early wear.
