Anyone tried John Deere Blitz Black for auto projects?

What about maintenance? Is it easy to clean or does it show dirt quickly? I’d like to avoid constant upkeep.

I agree, cleaning is straightforward. A simple wash does the trick. However, it does show dust if you’re in a dusty area.

Does it fade at all with sun exposure? Living in a sunny area, that’s a concern for me!

I’ve observed some fading, especially after prolonged exposure. A wax treatment helps prolong the finish though.

Waxing sounds like a good strategy! I wonder if people experience chipping in rough conditions?

I work my equipment hard, and I haven’t noticed any chipping. It seems to be pretty resilient under pressure!

I’ve had a rough spot on my plow, and I think it could have chipped from hitting rocks. Just be careful in those situations.

Good point about chipping! I guess no paint is perfect. How’s it looking after touch-ups?

Touch-ups blend well! A bit of extra Blitz Black goes a long way to keeping the look consistent.

I painted my old tractor with Blitz Black, and it’s a solid choice. Just make sure to prep the surface well for the best results.

What prep methods do you all recommend? I want to make sure I do this right.

I recommend sanding down the old paint and cleaning well before application. You won’t regret the effort!

Just keep the projects coming! I’m delighted to see so many positive experiences with Blitz Black. Makes me want to try it!

I’ve used John Deere Blitz Black on my truck and absolutely love the finish. It has a deep, rich color that makes my ride stand out! The whole aesthetic is just perfect for customization.

Sounds amazing! I’m thinking about using it on my motorcycle. Did you have to do any special prep before painting?

For me, the finish on Blitz Black is the best part. The matte look can be quite classy, especially with some gloss accents. It’s super versatile! What have others done for customization?

I agree with you! I’ve seen some great work using Blitz Black for farm equipment too. It’s a great choice for a rugged look!

John Deere Blitz Black might not be for everyone, but I find it really appealing, especially for those who like a sleek, understated aesthetic. It’s different from the standard green, that’s for sure.

I’ve seen some cool projects where people mixed Blitz Black with other colors for a unique twist. It really helps to personalize the equipment! Anyone here tried that?

I haven’t experimented much with mixing colors, but I do appreciate how well Blitz Black hides scratches. It keeps things looking fresh for longer, which is nice in both personal and professional applications.
