I’ve supercharged my Ford 300 inline 6! One of the first things I did was tweak the fuel mapping. It’s crucial to ensure you’re delivering enough fuel to match the increased air flow.

Fuel mapping is definitely key! I also found that adjusting the ignition timing helped pull more power out of the engine. Have you noticed any difference in throttle response?

I’ve read that adjusting the blower’s boost pressure can give significant power increases, but be cautious—too much boost can stress the engine components! What’s the max boost you guys are running?
Currently running about 6 psi on mine. It’s a balance between power and reliability. Just added an oil cooler too to help with temps during summer drives!

Changing the oil regularly is a must. I also suggest checking your spark plugs often since they take more of a beating with the added power.
Speaking of spark plugs, which ones are you all using? I switched to colder plugs after supercharging, and it made a world of difference in performance.
Good idea! I use iridium plugs which handle heat better. I feel like they help with starting too. Anyone else have experiences with different plug types?
I’ve had mixed results with different plugs, but the iridium ones seem to hold up well even under stress. It’s worth trying a few options to see what works best on your setup.
