I’ve had my Le Pera Kickflip Daddy Long Legs for about six months now. Overall, I find it quite comfortable for long rides, but I do experience some pressure points after a few hours. It’s really great for cruising, but I wonder if others have the same issue.

I can relate! I usually do lots of 300+ mile rides and I’ve found I need to stretch often. I’m considering switching to some sort of gel pad for added comfort.

That’s interesting, hoganlawrence. I’ve not had much discomfort with mine, but my rides are typically shorter. Have you adjusted the angle at all? That seemed to help a bit for me.

A gel pad sounds like a good idea, Faith! I personally added a sheepskin cover to mine, and it has reduced pressure significantly. Anyone else tried that?

I’ve had a similar experience with pressure points. I love the design but wish it offered a bit more support on longer rides. It’s so close to being perfect! I wonder if there are aftermarket parts that could enhance this seat.

I find it super comfortable, but I do take breaks during long rides. Maybe it’s just about adjusting your riding style? What works for you may not work for the next rider.

Even though I love the seat, I get the same feeling sometimes. Perhaps adding some back support would help alleviate that.

I’m considering upgrading to this seat, but hearing about these pressure points is concerning. Is it worth it, or am I better off with a different brand that might be more comfortable?

I guess it depends on your riding habits. If comfort is a priority for long-distance rides, you might want to test it out before committing. Plus, a good seat can sometimes make all the difference!

I agree with nscott! It’s definitely a gamble if you ride a lot. And remember, nothing beats a good old-fashioned pair of riding shorts! Those can sometimes save your behind, literally.

I’ve installed the Le Pera Kickflip Daddy Long Legs on my '18 Softail. The installation was a bit tricky, especially aligning the mounting brackets. Make sure you have the right tools handy!

Thanks for that tip! I’m planning to install it on my '16 Dyna. Do you think the process will be similar?

Hey Paul, I had the same model. The process is pretty much the same, but you might need to adjust the rear fender a bit. Just take it slow and you’ll be fine!

That’s helpful to know! Any other common pitfalls to watch out for?

I would recommend double-checking the fitment sheet. Some users report issues with the bolts being a bit off for their model. A little patience goes a long way!

Ah, I see. That’s frustrating! I guess I should prepare myself for some trial and error.

Don’t worry too much, Paul! I had a tough time too, but once you get the hang of it, it’s smooth sailing. You might need an extra set of hands for the alignment.

That’s a great idea! I usually work solo. Do you think a friend would make much of a difference?

Absolutely! Getting the seat positioned correctly can be a juggling act. Plus, it’s more fun with a buddy to share the excitement (or frustration) of installation!
